| How Does The Process Look? |

This meeting is a FREE initial consultation that occurs between both spouces and a Negotiator / Mediator. In this meeting, the process is explained to both parties by the Negotiator / Mediator, and both parties have the opportunity to give information to the Negotiator / Mediator regarding the marital situation. A flat fee quote is then given to both parties within 48 hours of this initial meeting - this quote is referred to as an "Engagement Letter". Click Here to go to the Request a Free Consultation Form
The next step is called the Optimum Outcome Conversation. This involves both parties meeting separately with the negotiator for a personal discussion. This meeting involves the Negotiator / Mediator spending time getting to know you, and your fears and issues around your divorce. The goal of this meeting is to help articulate what the ultimate outcome of the divorce looks like for each individual. This is the ultimate outcome that the Negotiator / Mediator works towards achieving for each party.
Fairway Transitions meeting is the next step in our process. During this meeting, each party is given the tools, and framework necessary to work sucessfully with both the other party, and the Fairway Negotiator / Mediator. Issues discussed during this meeting are: the timeline for resolution, ground rules for promoting courtesty and respect, the necessary interim financial and/or parenting plans required, and a calculation date.
Both parties are required to attend a seminar reviewing what the law dictates around various issues you may face during the divorce process.
This seminar offers parents information and strategies that will assist in developing a more collaborative co-parenting environment, which the children are a priority.
This step requires submitting all financial information to create a net worth statement.
Individual meetings can be arranged with an Independent Financial Planner to address concerns around the short and long term implications of the proposed settlements.
This plan is developed and given to both parties. The Fairway Process™ works for both conflicted and amicable couples.
